ABLE Foundation, Inc.

The ABLE Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, was established in 1993 to further the mission of ABLE and provide financial stability in uncertain times. Several fundraisers are held each year to provide programs, equipment, and opportunities to improve the quality of life for those supported by ABLE.
Mission: to increase public awareness of ABLE, provide opportunities for staff development and secure funds for programs, facilities and equipment that will improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities supported by ABLE.
Vision: that the needs of the people supported by ABLE will be met, that the quality of their lives will be improved and that ABLE employees will have opportunities for growth and development because of the work of the ABLE Foundation.


Foundation announces Fun Night winners

Thanks to all the businesses and individuals who supported the 22nd annual ABLE Foundation Fun Night, held March 11 at the La Crescent Snowmobile Club.  It was a night of food, fun and games, with all proceeds going to support the ABLE Foundation.

Top winner in the cash drawing was Mark Miller of La Crescent, who won $1,000. Myron and Anne Falken won $500, and Mike Gabrych won $300. Other winners were Mandi Niebeling, Sue Miller, Donna Gabrych, Tom and Nancy Hurm, Jon and Janet Bush, Steve Holman, Mary Reisbig, Deanna Dorsch and Kathy Betz, Paul Siegersma, Kathy and Craig Ladsten, Nate Skemp, Terry and Lisa Beron, Charlene and Mark Winchell, Tom Ingvalson (twice), Sam Jandt and Gabe Wieser.


Again, thanks to all the businesses and individuals who supported the event through donations, and thanks to the volunteers who helped make the evening a success.
